The simulator is free. Plus links your bank.
All seven scenarios, your budget, transactions and saved plans work on the free version, with no time limit. The one thing Simura Plus adds is bank linking, so you stop typing balances in and your plans stay current on their own.

Simulations are estimates for planning purposes only. Not financial advice.
Why the annual plan is web only
The monthly plan is in the iOS and Android apps, where it's easy to buy. The annual plan is a web-only offer: selling it directly, with checkout through Stripe, costs us less, and the lower annual price passes that on to you. Plus works the same in the app wherever you bought it.
What linking your bank means
Plaid connects Simura to your bank. You sign in to your bank through Plaid, so we never see your bank username or password. Access is read-only, and Simura can't move money or change anything in your accounts. Here's more on how bank connections and your data are protected.
Pricing questions
Free and Plus
Is there a free version?
Yes. Free includes all seven scenarios, your budget and transactions, rules, split transactions and unlimited saved plans you can pin to Home, with no history limit. Debt, house, emergency fund and retirement plans show how many months ahead or behind you are. You enter your accounts and balances by hand. The only thing it leaves out is bank linking.
Why is bank linking paid?
Each bank connection costs us money every month for as long as it stays connected. Numbers you type in cost us nothing. So the simulator is free, and Plus pays for the part that has a monthly cost per connection.
Do I have to link my bank to get good numbers?
No. Every scenario works with accounts you enter yourself. If a balance you entered hasn't been updated or confirmed in 35 days, Simura flags it before a plan runs on it. Linking just means you don't have to keep them up to date by hand.
Is my bank login safe?
You sign in to your bank through Plaid, not through us, so we never see or store your bank login. Access is read-only and Simura can't move money. The security page has the details.
Buying the annual plan
Can I buy the annual plan in the iOS or Android app?
No. The annual plan is sold on the web only. The monthly plan is sold in both apps and on the web.
Why isn't the annual plan in the app?
The annual plan is a web-only offer. Selling it directly on the web, through Stripe, costs us less, and that's what lets it cost you less.
How much does the annual plan save?
Twelve months at $9.99 comes to $119.88. The annual plan is $69.99, so you save $49.89 a year.
Cancelling
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Cancel where you subscribed: in your Apple ID settings for the App Store, in your Google account for Google Play, or on the web. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, and you aren't charged again.
What happens if I cancel Plus?
Your accounts, transactions and plans stay, and nothing is deleted. Plus runs until the end of the period you paid for. Then your linked banks are paused for 14 days, and if you resubscribe in that window they pick right back up. After the 14 days, linked banks stop updating and become accounts you update yourself. You'll get a heads-up in the app and by email before that happens. You can still delete your data anytime.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
Not if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play. Only Apple or Google can cancel those, so cancel there first, then delete your account.
